Doesn't matter which way you look at it, you would have had to get the brakes done at sometime. Now is as good a time as any and now you have reliability on your side! I'm very pleased you got them fixed. Money is nothing when we die. I know it makes life a lot easier if we had some! However, it's not worth worrying about.
